Calm, quiet spot with an old gravel quarry or some such thing. Old pilings and and a conveyer belt extend into the water. But below are the barges and they are kewl. The textures and life that's in the area are a photographers dream... well at least a newbie one that is... Vis was pretty good 20-25' or 50' Canadian...;-)) |

Comments: good Diving. I'd go back in a minute. No Current to mess with, Visibility was good - you could see your dive buddy. Photo angles and shots were boundless... using the old wooden barges as a background makes it good material. |

Making the big splash.. ...also make sure you secure your gear when you jump in or especially roll off the side of a boat, back first... I got a Nasty head cut from a big OLE Dive light... Ka-bam... didn't even know it until others pointed it out.. (Sunshine Coast '98?) |

Or..... The Attack of the Hermit Crabs....? Heheh kinda reminds me of the Little Tweedy Bird gestering to the 400 lb Eagle swooping down on it... Courage... !!!

... and you should have seen the Giant Crab I saw down there... He was at least this..... BIG I kid you not.... well maybe a little.. I like my crab to come to me on a silver platter with champagne...
